We Use This Type of Data About the Customer
We use the personal data provided by the customer to fulfill the agreed task.
This includes the customer’s contact details, such as phone number and email address.
We Only Process Necessary Personal Data
We collect, process, and store only the personal data necessary to complete the agreed tasks.
In some cases, legislation may determine which type of data must be collected and stored for our business operations, such as requirements under the Accounting Act.
We Delete Personal Data When It Is No Longer Necessary
We delete personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. As a rule, this will occur after the end of the customer relationship. However, customer data used for accounting purposes will always be retained for at least five years due to the requirements of the Accounting Act.
Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Data
We disclose and transfer personal data to partners and other entities when necessary to fulfill the agreement made with the customer.
Occasionally, we use data processors, including providers of software, web hosting, backup, security, and storage. When we use data processors, it is only for specific purposes, and it remains our responsibility to ensure that the customer’s information is processed in accordance with applicable legislation and this personal data policy.
We do not disclose personal data for purposes outside of the agreement – for instance, sharing data with others for their marketing purposes – unless explicitly agreed upon with the customer during data collection or by obtaining consent after informing the customer about the intended use of their data. The customer can request that we stop sharing their personal data at any time, even if such sharing was previously agreed upon or consented to.
However, we do not seek the customer’s consent when legally required to disclose personal data, for example, as part of mandatory reporting to an authority.
The Customer's Right to Access Their Personal Data
The customer has the right at any time to know what data we process about them, where it originates from, and how we use it. They can also request information about how long we retain their personal data and who receives their data.
Access may be restricted to protect the privacy of others, trade secrets, and intellectual property rights. The customer can exercise their rights by contacting us.
The Customer's Right to Rectification or Deletion of Inaccurate Personal Data
If the customer believes that the personal data we process about them is inaccurate or incorrect, they are welcome to contact us to have it rectified.
In certain cases, we may be obligated to delete personal data. This could apply if the customer withdraws their consent. If the customer believes the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, they can request that it be deleted. The customer can also contact us if they believe their personal data is being processed in violation of the law or other legal obligations.
The Customer's Right to Object to the Processing of Personal Data
The customer has the right to object to the processing of their personal data. They can also object to the disclosure of their data for marketing purposes. If the objection is justified, we will cease processing and delete the customer’s data unless we are legally required to retain it..
Right to Data Portability If the customer wishes to exercise their right to data portability, they will receive their personal data in a commonly used format. This includes the personal data the customer has provided to us, as well as data we have collected from other entities based on the customer’s consent.
General Information About Exercising Customer Rights
If the customer wishes to access, rectify, or delete data, or object to our data processing, we will assess whether this is possible and respond to the customer’s inquiry as quickly as possible, but no later than one month after receiving the request.
Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Data Protection Authority
The customer has the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency if they believe that AVN Group’s processing of personal data does not comply with legal requirements.
